DanceExercise
Dance Classes
Boogie Babes
This class is designed to give parents a chance to bond and exercise with their babies! Class focuses on strength and flexibility (with emphasis on abdominal muscles) for parents. The earlier children are exposed to exercise, music and movement the better! Ages 8 months to 1 year. 30 minute class..
Boogie Tots
This is a parent/tot class which incorporates fun themes into a creative movement class for children ages 1 1/2 - 3. Class begins with a short warmup and stretching routine followed by beginning barre work. Each class has a theme and parents take their children to different learning stations based on the theme of the day. A fun class for both parent and child. 30 minute class.
Twinkle Toes
A beginning ballet class for ages 2 1/2 to 4. This class will focus on beginning ballet movements including positions of the feet and arms, barre work and some across the floor movements. Students will learn a short dance routine encouraging large muscle group development and memorization skills. 45 minute class.
Combo Classes (Tap/Ballet)
Our tap/ballet combo classes are designed for pre-K and up. We make dance so much fun, kids won't realize they are learning skills that will help them throughout life! Classes are 1 hour.
Pre-Ballet
A beginning ballet class for ages 4 to 6. Students will learn basic ballet terms and steps while developing an appreciation for music and movement. Students will learn a short dance routine while developing self-confidence and memorization skills. 45 minute class.
Pre-Tap
A beginning tap class for ages 4 to 6. Students learn basic tap steps, rhythm to music and a tap routine. 45 minute class.
Advanced Pre-Ballet/Pre-Tap/Pre-Combo
A more advanced ballet/tap/combo class for students who have excelled in the Pre-Ballet/Pre-Tap/Pre-Combo class or are 6-8 years old. Listening skills will be emphasized while learning more advanced steps in ballet/tap and a dance routine. 45 minute class (Adv. Pre-Ballet/Pre-Tap). 1 hour class (Adv. Combo)
Teen/Adult Ballet
A basic ballet class for teens and adults. This class consists of intermediate to advanced ballet movements such as technical positions, turns, jumps, and combinations. Learn the basics that keep your core strong while learning gracefulness with flowing ballet movements. 1 hour class.
Adult/Teen Tap
For Teens and Adults who have always wanted to tap dance! Learn the fundamentals and watch your toes start tapping. 1 hour class.
Belly Dancing
Learn to shimmy, use a veil and move muscles you didn't even know you had! A fun class for all ages! Class is 1 hour.
Jazz Classes
Beginning at age 6 all the way through adult, dancers will learn the techniques of modern jazz incorporating a wide range of styles. Students will learn structured techniques that give any dancer the opportunity to learn different rhythms and styles of jazz. Classes are 1 hour
Adult/Teen Lyrical
This class is offered to teens and adults who want to learn elegant and poetic dance movements while using the body to tell a story. 1 hour class.
Hip-Hop
Fun, exciting classes that incorporate free form styles of the cultural movement of hip-hop and music video style dancing. Students age 7 to adult can enjoy the popular style of hip-hop! 1 hour classes.
Reach For The Stars
A movement class designed for children with special needs and their caregivers focusing on fun movement based on different themes each week. This class will do a special performance in each dance recital. 30 minute class. Two age groups are offered (2-6 and 7-12)
Dance Birthday Parties
Celebrate your child's birthday and leave the dancing (and the clean up) to us! Party includes 1 hour of dance instruction and 30 minutes of party table time for cake, presents, etc. Parents are welcome to bring birthday cake or other snacks, party ware and decorations. Exercise Classes
Ab Jam
Take this class and tone all areas of your core. Half of the class is standing abdominal work and the other half is on the floor. Reshape and flatten those resistant areas! 45 minute class.
Cardio Dance Party
A power charged cardio class and calorie burner choreographed to match the mood of the music. Let the music (and the disco ball) change your attitude . You won't have to push yourself - the hip-shaking funky music will do it for you! 45 minute class.
Cardio Kickboxing
Combines elements of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics to provide overall physical conditioning and toning. 45 minute class.
Lower Body Jam
This class concentrates on hips, thighs and gluts. Have fun and tone those target areas while mixing dance, kickboxing and martial arts. Cardio effect helps burn more calories and the use of resistance bands will give maximum results. 45 minute class.
Pilates Ball & Weights
Use the elements of Pilates techniques to create a fusion of mind and body while balancing and using an exercise ball and weights. These flowing exercises will focus on strengthening the core muscles and improve postural awareness to help relieve and prevent back pain. 45 minute class.
Silver Stars Exercise
A slower paced workout for the young at heart. Class focuses on low-impact aerobics, weights and core strengthening. 45 minute class.
Zone & Tone
Learn basic movements that tone target areas while burning calories! Each class will alternate between focusing on the lower body, upper body, abs or a combination of all areas. 45 minute class.
Yoga
Come and relax with a system of exercises that help you control the body and mind. Yoga improves your breathing and focuses on the alignment of your body while increasing flexibility and strength. 1 1/2 hour class.
