Studio Policies
Tuition
Tuition is due on the 25th of every month for the next month. After the 5th, tuition is considered late and a fee of $15.00 will be added. $25.00 will be charged for all returned checks. Dancin' Dreams runs on a calendar month and tuition remains the same whether there are 3, 4 or 5 classes in that month. We do not pro-rate for missed classes.
Discount Programs
Refer students and receive 10% off tuition for each student (up to three) for as long as they dance at Dancin' Dreams. If two or more students enroll from the same address, a family discount will be offered. Families simply count up the amount of hours the entire family is taking and find the corresponding rate on the rate sheet. Families get approximately a 20% discount on each class after the first. The discount referral program and the family discount program are completely separate and only one discount can be offered at a time.
Registration Fee
A non-refundable family registration fee of $10.00 is due when registering.
Attendance
Good attendance is beneficial for students and teachers. Students should make every effort to attend all classes, as absenteeism holds up the progress of the entire class. All students should arrive early enough to prepare for the start of dance class. Please allow time to dress, use the bathroom, eat, etc. before class time. Students will not be allowed on the dance floor before the actual class starting time. Please call if you will be missing a class.
Illness
For the protection of everyone, please do not come to class if you have experienced a fever in the last 24 hours. Please call the studio if you will be missing a class due to illness.
Substitute Teachers
Due to illness or personal reasons, substitute teachers may be needed at times. All substitute teachers are highly qualified and should be treated with respect.
Drop Off/Pick Up
It is Dancin' Dreams policy that students are not to be dropped off in front of the building and will not be allowed to wait in front of the building to be picked up. Guardian must sign the student in and out of each class. Sign in/out sheets will be available for all childrens' classes. Dancin' Dreams will not be held responsible for students.
Studio Closures
The studio will be closed for all major holidays. For closures due to snow or bad weather, please call the studio before you leave, as we will update our recorded message when there are closures.
Dance Attire
Proper, form fitting dance attire is required for all dance classes. Failure to dress appropriately may result in the student being unable to participate. Dancers may wear leotards with tights, leotards with leggings/sweat pants, jazz pants with form fitting tops etc. Appropriate shoes for each class are needed as well. Hair must be pulled back and secured. No baggy clothes, jeans, overalls or jewelry please.
General Information
Please be considerate of all others around you. Absolutely no gum, food or drink in the dance room. Students are responsible for cleaning up and throwing away their trash. Please leave valuables and jewelry at home, as the studio is not responsible for missing items.
