Dancin’ Dreams Presents a Brand-New Winter Production: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Get ready for a winter full of magic, imagination, and dance! Dancin’ Dreams is thrilled to announce an exciting new production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory coming to the stage this December. This one-of-a-kind winter production is being fully written and directed by the Dancin’ Dreams team, making it a completely original experience that has never been performed before at our studio. Our dancers are ready to step into the extraordinary world of Charlie Bucket, Willy Wonka, and the incredible characters that make this story so unforgettable. From the chocolate factory to the colorful characters inside it, our entire Dancin’ Dreams family will come together to bring this magical world to life through dance, storytelling, and performance.

A Brand-New Production Created by Dancin’ Dreams

This production is especially exciting because it is being created entirely by the Dancin’ Dreams team. From the writing and direction to the choreography and performance, our team is building a unique stage experience specifically for our dancers.

Rather than simply recreating a production audiences have seen before, our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory winter show will offer a fresh interpretation filled with creativity, personality, and plenty of surprises.

Auditions: Our Dancers Gave It Their All

Auditions for the lead roles in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory took place on August 15th, and our dancers came ready to work.

During auditions, dancers learned four different routines that showcased a variety of styles and performance skills. They were challenged to learn quickly, perform confidently, and show the Dancin’ Dreams team what they could bring to the characters they hoped to portray.

Every dancer gave their all, and we could not have been more proud of them.

And we have some especially exciting news...

Every Dancer Who Auditioned Was Cast in a Lead Role!

One of the most exciting parts of this production is that ALL of the dancers who auditioned for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory were cast into lead roles!

We are incredibly proud of every dancer who stepped into the audition room, took on the challenge, and showed us what they could do. Seeing their hard work and dedication pay off with meaningful roles in this production is something our entire team is incredibly excited about.

But the magic doesn't stop with our lead cast.

The Entire Dancin’ Dreams Studio Is Joining the Show!

While our lead dancers will take on some of the story's most recognizable characters, our entire Dancin’ Dreams studio will participate in the production.

Dancers throughout the studio will become different characters and bring different parts of the world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to life. This means our winter production will truly be a studio-wide celebration of dance, creativity, and teamwork.

From the youngest performers to our more experienced dancers, everyone will have a special place in this magical world.

Rehearsals Begin Soon

The excitement is already beginning behind the scenes. Rehearsals for our lead characters will begin the weekend after Labor Day, kicking off months of preparation for the December performances.

Our dancers will spend the coming months learning choreography, developing their characters, rehearsing scenes, and working together to create a production they can be proud of.

We can't wait to watch this incredible cast grow throughout the rehearsal process!
