Southlands Holiday Parade Highlights: Dream Team & Reverie Bring Nutcracker Cheer

This past weekend, our Dream Team and Reverie Dance Company had the incredible opportunity to perform at the annual Southlands Holiday Parade- and we couldn’t be more proud of the dancers who represented our studio with so much talent, teamwork, and holiday spirit!

The Southlands Holiday Parade is one of the most beloved seasonal events in our community, bringing families together to kick off the festive season with lights, music, and joyful celebration. Our dancers took center stage with a performance full of energy, artistry, and excitement, bringing holiday magic to the parade route in front of thousands of spectators.

One of the standout highlights was our Nutcracker-themed float. Decorated with giant candy canes, winter sparkle, and a towering inflatable Nutcracker doll, the float brought the classic ballet to life in a fun and whimsical way. Throughout the route, our dancers sat together on the float singing festive holiday songs, waving to the crowd, and spreading cheer with every turn.

We are so grateful to our dancers and families for their dedication leading up to this event. From rehearsals to costume prep to the joy of parade day itself, our studio community came together to create something truly special. The response from parade-goers was incredibly warm, and we’re honored to share our love of dance with the larger community in such a meaningful way.
